Targeted Phonics Instruction Manual

This Targeted Phonics Instruction Manual comes with an assessment, which allows you to target your students’ specific learning needs in an Orton Gillingham style. It can be used for tutoring or small group instruction. Lessons are designed with a multi-sensory approach, which has proven highly effective with both general education as well as special education students. There are NINE units and each unit includes four lessons.

The nine units include the major sticking points in first grade: CVC words, consonant blends, consonant digraphs, major vowel teams, magic e, and r controlled vowels.

HIGH FIVES – Classroom or Parent Resource – FREE!

HIGH FIVES are great for positive reinforcement within the classroom setting or at home with your own children. My students LOVE receiving these and it is a great way to give them attention for positive behavior. Print them on brightly colored paper so they stand out and bring them EVERYWHERE. I literally walk down the hallway with a huge stack and a pen. Students can show them off on their desks or take them home to show their families. I also share this with my students’ parents so they can use it at home. Enjoy!
